My Music

For the gigging musician, operating their own equipment as well as being expected to focus on the performance can be a hassle. For this reason, I am also able to offer sound engineering services with my own equipment to other performers. My current equipment would be ideally suited to solo artists, duos and smaller bands in small to medium sized venues, but larger events can also be considered. Please contact me for details of available equipment and prices. This leaves you free to give your best.

About Fees

This bit applies to bookings for gigs at private and public events but does not apply to music festivals or songwriter showcases, which I appreciate are not always able to pay performers, but can be great exposure to a wider audience. It is aimed more at the general entertainment/covers gig market.

I don't have a set tariff as fees charged will be discussed on an individual basis and are always 1. Reasonable and 2. Negotiable. I sometimes receive enquiries from charity and community events requesting that I play for no fee. I regret that I am not able to do this, as I believe it undervalues music generally and is not fair on other musicians, especially full time professionals, who have no option but to charge. If I wish to make a donation to your cause I am happy to do this, but if I am playing for you, payment is appropriate, just like any other service.
